I’ll admit it: I drink Champagne all year round.

Well, more accurately, I drink my parents’ Champagne. I couldn’t afford a nigh-limitless supply on my own. (Thanks, mom!)

But if you only break out the bubbly for New Year’s Eve, you may be facing a less-than-transparant trip to the liquor store. And you should know that $14 bottle is almost certainly not Champagne…

… but if you pick it right, it might still be very good stuff, indeed.
