Jamie Cattanach is a Pushcart Prize-nominated writer whose work has been featured in media outlets like TIME, CNBC, Fodor’s, SELF and Ms. Magazine as well as literary journals including Fourth Genre, Nashville Review, The Spectacle, Thin Air Magazine and many others. Her in-progress memoir was chosen for the Manuscript Mentorship program at the Tin House Winter Workshop in 2022. She also serves as Assistant Editor for the essays column of The Rumpus.  

After a long season of wandering, including a twice-cross-country stint in a 17-foot travel trailer, Jamie put down roots in Portland, Oregon, far from her south Florida hometown. From personal finance to body image to travel and beyond, her work is focused on living well: what it means and how to do it.
