I’m lucky to share internet white space with some humblingly-awesome writers in this month’s issue of Word Riot, where I’ve found a home for a personal essay of mine (almost exactly) two years in the making.
It’s called Risk, and full disclosure — it’s pretty graphic. It’s also my first published piece of creative nonfiction and I’m as proud of it as I am embarrassed by it. It’s a strange feeling.
